We run two dissertation competitions (completed dissertation or exposé) with prizes of up to €1,500.

We organise a scientific conference ('FISU World Conference') with up to 400 participants from 40 countries. Click here for more information.

We are organising the lecture series 'Rhine-Ruhr et al. (2025)' on 'Major Sport Events', with speakers from six different continents every week from 17.10.2024. A digital visit, including individual appointments, is possible at any time after informal registration at t.horky@macromedia.de.

With our 35 departments and around 150 experts, we are an interesting practical partner for various courses.

Here you can apply as a university or as part of a university for a place in the side-events and festival programme (e.g., workshops, live performances, exhibitions).

Everyone plays a part in our programme. If you want to be part of one of the biggest multi-sport events in 2025, please contact us. We will be happy to create a customised graphic for you (logo, motto; example).

We are running numerous marketing activities, such as the social media series 'Hot-Job' (October 2024), 'Advent University Quiz' (December 2024) or 'Battle of the Universe' (April 2025), in which you can participate.

We are also happy to provide you with information about past FISU World University Games participants from your university or help you with 'Local Hero' stories about current top student athletes or volunteers from your university.

We are also opening up our Flame Relay to universities, so that every university has the opportunity to showcase itself and its institution.
