Observer Programme at EUSA Games 2024

The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Organising Committee recently participated in the European Universities Games 2024 held in Debrecen-Miskolc, Hungary. They gained firsthand observation experience, promoted the upcoming FISU Games, and fostered collaborative efforts with various stakeholders.

The Organising Committee attended the official Observer Programme at the European Universities Games 2024. This programme provided an invaluable opportunity to understand the operational aspects of a large-scale multi-sport event. The Observer Programme served as a platform for the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 team to share ideas and network with the Debrecen-Miskolc organising committee, European University Sports Association (EUSA) staff, and representatives from European-based National University Sport Federations.

The Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Organising Committee maintained a strong presence onsite, actively promoting their upcoming event. The committee's promotional efforts also extended to encouraging volunteer participation, emphasizing the vital role volunteers will play in the success of the FISU Games 2025.

In addition to their observational and promotional activities, the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 Organising Committee held two highly successful information sessions. These sessions were attended by delegations, members of the European Universities Games organising committee, EUSA staff, and volunteers. The aim was to provide detailed information about the plans and preparations for Rhine-Ruhr 2025, addressing key aspects such as event logistics, athlete services, and volunteer opportunities.

As the countdown to Rhine-Ruhr 2025 continues, the committee remains committed to leveraging their experiences and insights to create an exceptional event that celebrates university sports and fosters international camaraderie.
